It is a beautiful spot to see the show and a memory that I know none of us will soon forget. The viewing area is just beyond the bridge between the England and France pavilions. We reserved a private pontoon boat with a captain for a group of 9 people to watch IllumiNations. Not worth the $50/person charge and we will likely not attend this party again. They no longer had the fresh donuts, special ice creams, ice cream treats, fruit or cheese trays. They also had cookies, rice crispie treats, baklava, a bread pudding, popcorn flavored gelato, and a few other random options that weren't particularly memorable. Many of the desserts were cold like they'd just come out of the fridge or hadn't fully defrosted yet (cupcake and baklava), or overcooked like the incredibly tough churros. (The line started forming for check in around 7pm, check in started an hour before Illuminations at 8pm, and Illuminations wasn't until 9pm, so that's a lot of standing around at the end of an already tiring day walking around Epcot.) The party had fewer dessert options than our previous visit and what they did have was very underwhelming. Many guests chose to sit on the ground after standing so long for the check in and party time.

The party has tables set up but no seating. This was our second time attending the party and we were not impressed the second time around. This review is focused specifically on the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party aspect.
